God’s word: the Warrior family #2

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

1 John 4:18 NIV

I know that my blogs have been sporadic; honestly, I haven’t been inspired to write much. My mom and I figured out that we have been going to Crossroads church approximately 10 years as of March of this year.  We have seen lots of changes since March 2006.  We have been through a huge expansion we have seen lots of friendly faces come and go.

How many of you remember my blog about the warrior family last year? I will attach a link to refresh your memory. Courageous warrior has been going through lots of ups and downs physically ever since her stem cell transplant.  She is currently in the hospital in Texas, both Daddy and Mama Warrior have been by her side since day one.

The entire Warrior family has been part of Crossroads church for 25+ years. Daddy Warrior was media director and part of the Crossroads band.  Mama Warrior was head of the women’s ministry and was one of the singers in the Crossroads band.  I can’t forget Songbird Warrior.  She is the older sister of Courageous Warrior.  She is currently attending ‎Hillsong College in Australia.

Yesterday we the church congregation received the news that the Warrior family would be making a permanent move to Texas as it was getting harder and harder to commute back and forth. As much as it breaks my heart to watch this wonderful family leave, I know that it’s for the best.

Yes I get attached to people, even if I don’t have much of a personal connection to them. I am blessed to be able to say that the Warrior family was and always will be family because at Crossroads church we are family.

Thank you for visiting today and God bless.

Special thanks to Richard and Daphne Gaspard for allowing me to use the picture above. Please join me in praying for the Gaspard family Richard, Daphne, Kylie and Katie AKA the Warrior family as they continue on their journeys of life.

Remember to visit my friend Jaycee to see what he’s been up to. I can tell you firsthand that he has been extremely busy filling in for the morning show host, CJ Clements.  Special prayers go out to CJ and his family.  His daughter Brittni is fighting acute leukemia. KTDY holds a special place in my heart because Jaycee has gone above and beyond in telling my story and sharing my blogs.  They make me feel like family.
